Chandra (pronounced like the letters
C-H-A in the word 'Chance') ~ Sanskrit:

Ultimately, it makes sense that Chandra would have
an unrelenting urge to draw. Her artistic mother worked with her from a young age in a variety of mediums and still inspires her creativity in countless
ways.
Chandra's father, who started out as a draftsman, launched
his professional career sketching the inventions of
people who had applied for patents. So, it seems inevitable
that our artist would find herself infatuated with
clean, contemporary line art.
With a dedication to excellence, a flair for the unexpected,
and her highly specialized expertise that combines an
advanced degree in Psychology with this innate talent
for design, Chandra has the upper hand when it comes
to creating collectible products with which people can
truly identify.
After the lengthy experimentation needed to develop
her proprietary formula that would take trendy accessories
beyond acrylics, plastic and rubbery polyurethane, Chandra
created her first glossy, glass-like belt buckle that
would become the cornerstone of her brand and lend itself
to the creation of an entire line of functional illustrated
art.

The result? Rich, multi-dimensional surfaces that are
as durable as they are beautiful. Chandra's illustrations
glisten on top of the silver and pewter pieces that
she has carefully designed and engineered to showcase
her work.
It is this originality and commitment to quality that
has garnered the Sugarluxe brand such a highly devoted
following, while fashion forward boutiques around the
globe and customers of every age anxiously await delivery
of her newest Limited-Edition Illustrations for the

Sugarluxe Girl is never perfectly shaped...like all of
us, certain parts may be out of proportion. But for sure,
she's bold, cute, colorful, smart, ageless, never inappropriate,
always in fashion, and a friend to everyone.
We can't possibly be all
of those things, all of the time, but through the power
of imagination and illustration, we can live a little
vicariously.
So, Sugarluxe is really more
than just fun accessories and fabulous products, it's
truly a Fashion Philosophy.
Think of it
as a personification of the things in life that are
really sweet: best friends forever, a few cocktails
every now and then, and lots of fancy stuff always.
