In Greek Mythology, the Nereids are known as Sea Nymphs representing the illustrious daughters of Nereus who live in the Mediterranean Sea. Nereids are thought to be able to see the future and have inspired countless poets, writers, philosophers, and artists. Artwork is infused with colors ranging from earth and sand, to turquoise, seafoam and sapphire. Every durable designer belt buckle is cast in a fine pewter with custom hook and logo tooling on back. The artwork is protected with a proprietary formula that embeds deeply saturated pigments fused to a glass composite. Each piece is then outlined with a coordinating band of inlaid stones using only the finest Genuine Swarovski Crystals.
